THE REBEL LOUNGE ANNOUNCES EMO PRIDE EVENT BENEFITTING ONE•N•TEN ON SATURDAY JUNE 1ST

Local music venue The Rebel Lounge hosts bi-monthly EmoNightPhx events, an event where fans of emo music can sing their hearts out and dance to emo music spanning the past 20+ years. 

On Saturday June 1st, the venue will host a special edition of this EmoNightPhx event: the third annual EMO PRIDE, benefitting local nonprofit one•n•ten. Over the last two years, The Rebel Lounge & EmoNightPhx were able to donate over $4,000 to the organization raised by the first two EMO PRIDE events.

“[one·n·ten is] the largest organization in Arizona providing comprehensive services to LGBTQ+ and allied youth ages 11 to 24,” says Director of Development and Marketing, Clayton Davenport. “[one·n·ten was] founded in 1993, and provided a unique opportunity for LGBTQ+ youth to connect, socialize, and receive support for navigating community resources. Our services have expanded since then, but our goal is the same. We enhance the lives of LGBTQ+ youth and young adults through programs that promote self-expression, self-acceptance, and healthy life choices.”

EMO PRIDE will feature guest DJ sets by popular local personalities Matthew Moody, who was Mr. Phoenix Leather 2022, as well as Miss Kobalt Pride 2023, Benaddiction. Both DJs will be spinning popular emo songs from 9pm-2am alongside the resident EmoNightPhx DJ Sad & Boujee. Advance tickets for the event cost $10.
